Cookie Notice
This notice describes the cookies and browser storage WiserMoms currently uses. We keep this list tied to actual product behavior rather than presenting choices for technology that is not in use.
What is currently used
Essential session and security cookies. Authenticated parts of WiserMoms may use first-party session, refresh, and CSRF-protection cookies needed to sign you in, keep a session secure, and protect requests.
Temporary session storage. Some application and training flows use browser session storage to keep temporary state during a browser session. Session storage is not an advertising identifier.
Interface preferences. Authenticated interface components may use a small first-party preference cookie, such as remembering sidebar state.
Privacy-notice preference. If you select “Got it” on the public privacy notice, WiserMoms stores the first-party local-storage key wm_cookie_notice_ack_v1 so the notice does not appear on every visit.
What is not currently used
The current public WiserMoms site does not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking, or analytics cookies. Because those technologies are not currently present, we do not show misleading “Accept all” or “Reject all” controls.
Your browser controls
You can clear or block cookies and local storage using your browser settings. Blocking essential security or session cookies may prevent authenticated features from working correctly. Clearing the privacy-notice preference simply means the notice may appear again.
If our use changes
If WiserMoms later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies that require a choice, we will update this notice and provide appropriate consent controls before using them where required.
