1. Our services
WiserMoms provides eligibility screening, application assistance, document management, and renewal tracking for government benefit programs in the United States and, where available, Canada. We are a private technology company — not a government agency.
Eligibility results are estimates based on information you provide and publicly available program rules. Only the administering government agency makes final eligibility and benefit decisions.
WiserMoms is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Caseworker support, appeals guidance, and program information are for general assistance only. For legal advice about immigration, custody, benefits denials, or other legal matters, consult a licensed attorney or accredited representative.
2. Who may use WiserMoms
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province or territory) and able to form a binding contract. You represent that information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Misrepresentation may affect benefit outcomes and could violate program rules.
3. Accounts & security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@wisermoms.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.
4. Applications & authorization
WiserMoms may pre-fill application materials using your profile data and help you track submissions. We do not submit applications to government agencies on your behalf unless (a) you explicitly authorize a specific submission through the platform, or (b) a partner organization with whom you have a documented relationship submits on your behalf with your written consent.
You are responsible for reviewing all information before any application is filed and for meeting program deadlines and documentation requirements.
5. Free services for families
Core WiserMoms features for mothers and caregivers — eligibility scanning, application tracking, document locker, and renewal alerts — are provided free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features in the future with clear notice and consent.
6. Electronic communications & SMS
By creating an account and providing a phone number, you consent to receive transactional messages (account verification, security alerts, and renewal reminders you enable). Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS marketing (if any); reply HELP for help. Email unsubscribe links are included in promotional emails.
For Canadian users, commercial electronic messages comply with CASL where applicable; you may withdraw consent at any time.
7. Partner organization subscriptions
Nonprofits, shelters, and government agencies may subscribe to partner portal features under separate order forms or contracts. Subscription fees, seat limits, and service levels are described at signup or in enterprise agreements. Billing disputes should be directed to compliance@wisermoms.com.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use WiserMoms for unlawful purposes or to submit fraudulent applications
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems
- Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights
- Misrepresent WiserMoms as an official government website
9. Intellectual property
WiserMoms software, branding, and content (excluding government program materials and your uploaded documents) are owned by WiserMoms LLC or its licensors. You retain ownership of documents and profile data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that data to provide our services.
10. Disclaimers
SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL OF ANY BENEFIT APPLICATION OR SPECIFIC BENEFIT AMOUNTS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WISERMOMS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF BENEFITS, DATA, OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law & disputes
For U.S. users, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your state apply. Exclusive venue for disputes not subject to arbitration (if any separate agreement applies) lies in state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your state consumer protection law requires a different forum.
For Canadian users, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, except where mandatory provincial consumer protection laws apply. You may also have rights under provincial consumer protection statutes that cannot be waived by contract.
13. Termination & changes
You may close your account at any time. We may modify these Terms or discontinue services with at least 30 days' notice for material changes where required by law. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: compliance@wisermoms.com.
